I must admit I have been pretty good about controlling my after Christmas shopping urges, (though others {husbands} don't agree). I did, although, score this sweet top at Nordstom Rack yesterday, it is even sweeter than this in person ladies....no joke.

Well I made this dress (more like long shirt), I am in love with the fabric but unfortunately I didn't execute the sewing perfectly, so it is not as wearable as I'd like it to be. The pattern also wasn't perfect, for some reason it was making things difficult. Well here it is, hopefully I will get a couple good outfits out of it...

Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons of Blue

Ummmm Christmas is on its way! And a lot of you know last year I didn't get to enjoy my holidays to the fullest because of an extremely harsh work schedule. And THIS GIRL likes to enjoy the Holidays. Ok so I was on Etsy yesterday and decided what the heck, why not just try this out, so now I have an etsy shop! Many of you have suggested this to me so I finally went for it. My first item to be sold on etsy is a set of greeting cards I worked hard on to make sure they were up to etsy standard. But! I wanted to show them to you first, so you get first dibs! Haha, I am selling them for $5

I am still working on getting my shop together, so it's not quite ready, also I don't know how to make photos smaller (bite-wise) and that's tripping me up a bit. but anyway my shop address is http://sarahlouiseb.etsy.com

Collage memory box!

I had fun yesterday covering this box with cards we received for our wedding and making it into a memory box for artifacts from the whole event. I put things like a program, our cake topper that I made, the box Paul gave me my engagement ring in etc. inside it. I am pleased!

Happy Birthday Brianna!

Brianna is a very special friend of mine and has been for about 12 years now! (oh my gosh, we are getting old) It seems like just yesterday she was captain of the cheerleaders at Trinity HS and I was her biggest fan. She's funny, understanding, and just the person you need to talk to when you have a really good story, or bit of gossip. I love her, she's the one clutching my hand moments before I walked down the aisle this summer, she's been holding my hand like that for years now...

oh and here she is looking adorable for my wedding.

These are pictures I shot of Meg back in school when I took one of my photography classes. We had to shoot on slide film so they have been stuck on slides for a few years, I finally went to a lot of effort to get them onto a cd so I could edit and print them.

I plan on displaying them in P and I's home as some of my best photog work!

to using the ever so popular "mod podge", which is like a glue sealer
that let's you adhere paper or fabric to hard surfaces. It's fun stuff!

Bad Sister (me) this is a couple days late

MEGGY IS 21!

My sister, unmatched in beauty and modeling capabilities, is a very special girl. It was hard picking photos because she is so ridiculously photogenic that I could post an entire portfolio of pictures she looks awesome in.

Seen here is her famous laugh that can be heard throughout an entire restaurant and emits pure joy. Being the cause of that laughter is something I thrive on.

I am pretty sure any guy Meg has ever met has been smitten with her in some way.

Even since she was a little girl she was capturing hearts of all kinds of men folk, they even write songs about her! (google Michael Gulezian "Little Meggy" and treat yourself to a beautiful acoustic song inspired by and titled after our Meg.)

Well what can I say she's beautiful, fun to be around, a smart little bookworm and I'm blessed that she's MY little sister (and Greg's).

We can't wait until she comes home to us again after she finishes her semester abroad.
