Weekend Time

This cold weekend we enjoyed a yummy breakfast in the Bishop Arts District at Oddfellows. Amelia was mostly very difficult once we sat down, then Paul and I look at each other like "why do we bring her out to restaurants?" then she usually calms down a bit, and after we have eaten delicious food we forget it's such a pain sometimes.  Then we mostly just hung around, watching movies and playing in laundry baskets. Dad is such a fun play buddy!

Last weekend I had a shower for Meg at Crooked Tree Coffee house in Dallas. I hung some garlands, made some killer quiche and we had a nice time.

It is cool to live in Dallas and take advantage of these little events, I'm proud to say that I make it to a few of these kinds of things a year. They always include free booze, free food and usually shopping. So thats all good stuff.

also I was amazed at this lady's hairdo! It really was perfect, except her hair is much lighter than mine so it's way easier to do, well done! 

Saturday Night

we went and had dinner at Oddfellows in the Bishop Arts district, then walked around a bit and just had enjoyable evening with our buds Amanda and Will, who are about to leave us again for a couple months exploring South America.
