for a couple days, I finished it today. I like it but it's a bit droopy, which is a common problem with homemade bags.

Things that happened in 2010 that I am psyched about:

We moved into a sweet condo in the big D, and we own it!

Paul continued to be my hero when it comes to providing for our us.

My brother became a Doctor!

I got to float the river a few times with my favorite folks.

I saw good friends tie the knot.

I spent a great day with Katie in Amarillo, who I love and wish I could see more often.

I planned a couple party-like things for people, and they payed me!

I get to spend some time each week taking care of little babies, and therefore nurturing my soul.

Meg and Mark got engaged!!

And I got to decorate my own house for Christmas.

Hopes and Goals for 2011:

keep working out (and then some) and try to eat more of the good stuff.

Grow my little creative business.

Become a better photographer

Visit new places

Take more advantage of living here in Dallas, do more.

Start working on the Yarbrough empire.

and as always

I, with my husband, hope to grow in love and faith with Him by my side.

Is pretty great.

You would probably know that if you've met him. His friends and family have hailed him as the best man they know, the true example of what a man should be, an excellent father etc.

I of course agree with all of these reviews and I know that I am a lucky girl.

Sometimes he does little things that prove to me just how much we are loved, like stocks the fridge with Dr. Peppers just in case his girls are home. I know he would do anything I needed him to, and loves me a lot. Last May when I came in the house with my foot trailing blood and feeling quite scared and nervous, my brother was taking care of me and as we were deciding to head to the doctor to get some stitches my dad was looking a little bewildered and came and hugged me and said "I would go with you but I think I might start to cry", and then he welled up a little bit.

I guess a lot of people don't expect that from him, but he is kind of a softie, and I really love that, and I really can't wait to watch him with his grand babies,

it's gonna be so much fun!

It is also really fun to have a very handsome dad, never met a dad better lookin' than mine!

I love you Dad :)

A taste

of what we enjoyed last night. Ray was so good! I have seen him once before at ACL and loved him, and last night was even better. The only disappointment was that we had to stay seated, not letting me groove to my fullest potential. He was with the band he did his latest CD with, The Pariah Dogs. I was also so excited last night because to my surprise (not listed on the ticket) this group called the Secret Sisters opened and I just heard them do a little live show on NPR and loved it. They are two girls with beautiful voices and sing with an oldie sounding style.

It just oozes out of him...
