Best baby costume !

Congratulations to Everett for winning my favorite baby costume. Kudos to Katie for undoubtedly putting this together, he looks so great! And stinking adorable!
Happy Halloween!

A busy week

Lots on the books this week, except I don't have a job, so that helps...

Pictures from Tyler TX

A couple weekends ago Paul and I decided to take a little mini trip somewhere, and we ended up going to Tyler because we saw there was a rose festival going on. We had a pretty good time!
There was Putt Putt...

Crafting with Celebrities

Well maybe not full blown celebrity, but this is Grace Bonney author of Design Sponge, the blog and now interior design book. Amanda and I read her blog and signed up to go to this event which included a little craft workshop. It was quite a fun Thursday night!

32!

I simply can't believe that if I take another one of these in 4 weeks, that very well may be the last one! And in another 4 weeks I could be holding our baby girl!!
This is so nuts...

Holy Craft!

A little mobile for a little baby

Pretty Cute!
This cost absolutely zero dollars. I just went through my crafty stuff and pulled out paper in primary colors, I had these little birdies printed out and sitting in my paper bin for like a year( ya, so I went ahead and put a bird on it.), the embroidery hoop is from another project that has been set aside, this is the benefit of having a well-stocked craft supply!

Cute display

I got some vintage hankies and keys at the flea market last week and came up with this way to display them. I have little tea lights inside and they look quite cute all lit up! Fun...

Curtains

So the pottery barn curtains did not work out, they only sent me one panel, when I thought I was getting two, so it would have been too pricy. But I am glad because of course City Craft fabric had way cuter options. So I got the fabric today and finished my curtains today! Here is your "sneak peak" picture. When the nursery is done I will take pictures of the whole room, it's gonna be so great!

Maternity Pics!

P9242531
So I dragged Paul out to the Dallas Arboretum yesterday morning and made him pose with me and take pictures maternity-style. We took our tripod and set it up and ended with some pretty cute shots! I have been putting most of the good ones through the instagram app on my phone to give them some interesting colors and textures, so I'll post all those later on.

I have ordered these curtains from good 'ole Pottery Barn for the nursery.

Tootsie Approved!

Here is the changing table all dressed up and ready to use! I'm so thankful to Barry, Paul's step dad, and future grandparent, for making this excellent table. I told him what I wanted and he delivered, and it is made impeccably because he's great at this kind of stuff.
I made a cover for the changing pad out of oilcloth (not sure why it is called this, but it is like vinyl but thinner, which means I can wipe it clean!) bought from City Craft here in Dallas. I stained the wood very imperfectly but I like the color.
And I added the little heart cuz I'm cute.

Of Course

I have been keeping my eyes peeled for some cute curtains for the nursery and haven't seen anything good. I was cruising Target's Web site looking at all the Missoni stuff, which is pretty much all sold out on the second day they released the collection! I came across these curtains which I would have purchased in a heartbeat because they would have been perfect in the nursery!
But no, I guess they are sold out and I don't know if they will get any more...
