My Birthday Party

was a success! I was super impressed with everyone's costumes and Paul did such a great job with the food and prep! yay!

and here is how my gothic/punk ballerina turned out! not bad...

Trim usage

kinda hard to see the real beauty of this trim here, but I made a cute belt out of the trim I got last week at Ellen's.

The Craft Show

Although my mom, aunt and I would not describe the craft show as a raving success, we enjoyed ourselves and were able to sell some of our things. I probably sold about 9 cake plates, and that was enough to pay for what it cost me to make all my cake plates, so that's pretty good.

mostly we had fun complimenting each other on what amazing products we have.

Great News!

The Taste and See art show is next weekend in

Colleyville and guess who will be selling some crafts!

I am!

along with my mom and my Soo Soo.

I am selling handmade cake plates, and my mom is selling super cool clocks she made, and Soo Soo is selling some paper items like notebooks and journals (all of our stuff is handmade, of course!)

I have been working for a while now and have made about 25 plates to sell, priced $15, $18 and $20 each.

Here is a flyer for the event, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Colleyville

Oct. 16 and 17.

There will be music, food and wine!

I really hope that some of you decide to come on out for a beautiful Fall day at the craft show...

Oh my gosh I made this!

and it's not even messed up.

I used a pattern, but I also didn't let it get me all confused, I just followed the order of assembly from it

I decided to zig zag stich along the raw edges to give it that Chanel suit look. I know, it looks exactly like a Chanel. :)
